In the salon, we offer traditional luxury salon services, as well as cleaner, less toxic options. On our wellness side, we offer a wide spectrum of herbal and products and holistic wellness services such as Harmonic Egg therapy, Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy, massage, and more to promote a balanced body, mind, and spirit.

MEET LEIGH
MEET NERISSA
As a classically trained actor, Leigh Berry, CH, treasures the study of human emotions, patterns, intentions, and motivations. After nearly two decades working as a Staff Accountant for her family’s tax and accounting firm, Leigh was searching for ways to reconnect to that exploration of emotion and discovered the alternative healing modality, Integrated Energy Therapy.
She became an Advanced IET practitioner under the tutelage of Laura Haley, and opened a small business in Plaistow, NH – Viriditas Healing Arts. To add to her natural healing toolkit, Leigh earned the designation of Certified Herbalist from Herbal Wisdom Institute and was later certified in Reiki 1 and 2 under Anne Donnell.

She looks forward to sharing her unique knowledge of holistic health, particularly emotional wellness, and helping clients along their journey toward inner peace.

Leigh lives with her husband and son (the rocks that she stands on and the wings that allow her to fly). She is a voracious reader and ornithophile, and a lifelong lover of the ocean, shoes, all things sparkly, and the Boston Celtics.
Nerissa entered the beauty industry at a young age. Now, with over 15 years of experience, she has cultivated a diverse skill set, thriving not only behind the chair, but also in cosmetics and management.
Her specialties include creating"lived-in" color looks, offering corrective hair coloring techniques, and designing lasting memories with bridal hair and makeup. Nerissa is dedicated to staying current with new trends and is always exploring opportunities to add to her list of hair and beauty certifications.
Excited to elevate the salon experience at Ivory & Onyx, Nerissa is proud to offer the surrounding communities a range of cleaner beauty products, along with many other luxury services.
In Nerissa's downtime, she enjoys spending time with her 11-year-old son, husband, and furry companion, a Pomeranian named Puppy. She also loves to catch up with friends, cook, and work on home decor projects.
